MMA Timer (Chrono Ticker) — Privacy & Data Practices

Kalpa Enterprises built the MMA Timer mobile application, also known as Chrono Ticker (“App”), a combat-sports round timer for phones and Wear OS. This service is provided by Kalpa Enterprises and is intended for use as is.

This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if you choose to use the App. If you use the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described below.

Information collection and use

MMA Timer is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require you to create an account to use core timer features, and we do not collect personal information from you while you use the App unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

Timer presets, round settings, sound preferences, and other configuration you enter are stored locally on your device (and, where applicable, synced to a paired watch via the platform’s on-device mechanisms). We do not upload this information to our own servers.

What we store on your device

App preferences, timer configurations, and related settings stay on your device. Wear OS companion features may keep related settings on the watch. Uninstalling the App or clearing app data removes on-phone data.

Permissions

The App may request device permissions only when needed for features you use (for example, notifications for round alerts, or sensors/health-related APIs if you enable optional workout features). You can grant or deny permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission may limit related features but will not require us to collect additional personal information.

Log data

When you use the App, we may collect limited diagnostic information in the event of a crash or error. This may include your device type, operating system version, and basic technical details needed to fix problems. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Subscriptions and payments

If the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed by the platform store (Google Play and/or Apple App Store). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Store purchase records are subject to the store’s privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This service does not use cookies explicitly for advertising. The App may include third-party platform libraries that use similar technologies only as needed to provide the service.

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
