FAQ

Promoter FAQ

How do I get access as a promoter?

Sign up as a promoter. An admin verifies promoter accounts, usually within 12 hours; an invite code from BoutBase unlocks access right after email verification.

Which sports does BoutBase support?

BJJ and grappling, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, with sport-specific application forms, result methods, and scoring.

Who owns the event data?

You do. Applications, rosters, and documents stay in your promoter account; only results you publish appear on public pages and athlete records.

What devices do I need on event day?

Any phone, tablet, or laptop with a browser for each table, and any TV with a browser for the scoreboard or venue wall.

What if the venue Wi-Fi drops?

Scoreboards and live pages keep showing the last known state and catch up when the connection returns; a phone hotspot is enough to keep a mat running.

Can I keep a test event private?

Yes. Hide an event from the public to rehearse brackets and scoring; only you, your event staff, and BoutBase admins can open its pages.

Ready to run your next event?

Create a promoter account, set up your first event, and rehearse it privately before going public.
